Over the past 25 years, NNPS has assisted more than 5,000 schools—and several hundred districts, educational organizations, and state departments of education—to plan, implement, and continually improve their partnership programs.” The article shows that Joyce Epstein, Steve Sheldon, and our team—Brenda Thomas, Rachel Chappell—are guiding districts and schools—that’s YOU—to “lift research out of the journals, develop programs based on solid evidence, and get those programs into the schools with purpose.” It is important that members of NNPS continue to gain knowledge and skills to engage all families—not just a few—in their children’s education—even during the wicked period controlled by COVID-19.
